Ignition Control Unit 200 1986

The voltage that you are seeing on terminal 2 of the distributor comes from the ICU, this is the source. The Hall sensor provides a pulsed signal back to the ICU from terminal 3 on the distributor. Terminal 1 on the distributor is the negative and comes from terminal 3 on the ICU. The signal back to the ICU from terminal 3 on the distributor is hard to read although it will cause a digital meter to indicate a source voltage (across terminal 1 on the distributor). Check your connections at the ICU.
