I used to live on Long Island and KNOW there are a lot of volvo fans in Brooklyn & Queens. I suggest you contact the VCOA greater New York Chapter..I bet you'd find 10 folks to go in on a garage rental immediately...comeraderie and experience would also be invaluable...don't forget to include a fridge for beer!
