The K-jet head doesn't have any provision for mounting the D-jet aux air regulator, nor a spot for the D-jet water temp sensor. You could use the block from the K-jet motor with a D-jet head on it (although the K cam is a bit milder than the D cam), but you can't bolt parts of the D-jet system to a K-jet head.
