How much pressure is acceptable? 700 1990

The FAQ says the cap matters. Give your engine a little gas and see if the cap gets sucked down, mine did. Also push the cap down and pull it up, you should feel it stick down a little, even at idle. I think you'd need a lot of blow-by to get positive pressure in the crank case if the PCV is working right, since the small hose is downstream from the TB, so it's hungry for as much air as it can get. If you're concerned about your rings just get a compression test.
