My 84 is acting just like this, will not even start below 30 deg.F.
I would recheck the temp sensor at the ECU, Bentley says how (mine was OK).
I thought maybe the fuel pressure could be too high, but my FPR did not have fuel in the vacuum line, but I have not checked the pressure as I need to rig up a gauge.
My only other thought would be the ECU is sending a really long pulse to the injectors (have to use an O scope to check this) or the injectors (1,2 more?) are stuck open or leaking. Are all the plugs black or wet, or just some?
The ECU opens all injectors at once, so if all are wet then the ECU or it;s sensors are bad. If just one bad , then the likely hood would be the injector.
(all mine were wet).
BTW bad EcU's are rare, it's more likely getting a bad input.
