Throttle body question 700 1988

did you remember to reconnect the throttle switch after you cleaned it, if not the idle motor will not work properly, also if you changed the throttle plate stop screw and did not readjust the link rod to the throttle cable, you might have the cable or the link rod holding the throttle plate open.
