Just saw your follow-up to Art. Some of my comments still apply, but I now know what connector you're talking about. Excessive heat or movement are usually the cause for copper connectors opening up. Replacement is the usual cure. One other thought, I can't remember if the edge connector of the ICU circuit board is used, but if it is you can try "tinning" the edge contacts with solder to fatten them up and fill in any voids. Otherwise I think it's fair to guess the ICU side of the connector is the root of the problem.
