Spark Plug - Replace 200 1986

The most important is to ensure that the engine is cold when doing this... It is much easier to strip the threads with a warm block...

I too have been using a lub when replacing... Keeps them turning smooth.

Try spraying some WD40 or other in there a couple if times a day for two/three days... it might help free up an keep ny potential damage to minimum...

If you do get them out relatively nicely... If the new ones don't feel smooth to go in, try WD40, if all fails do not force them in and strip the threads... you might want to gat a tap? and recut the threading, should not be thatbig a deal. Any garage can do it for 1 hour labor for sure.

Depending on the condition of the car, maybe it is better to just leave them. It would not hurt theough to try the WD40 and them try jiggle turning the rest of the plugs, one at a time... they might come lose.

The worst would be the stripped thread...
