Battery cable replacement tips 700 1988

If the problem is only on/near the clamp, you can get a replacement terminal clamp from sears hardware. Just cut off the old clamp and the new one splices to the old. you might need a heavy duty wire cutter to cut your old cable.

I did this a while ago and it worked fine for me.
