On my 77, I had no problems. Just remove the IAC so you have a little more hand room. Then pull the connector to the IAC (which has the same format as the IAC connector). Then with your left hand, put on the socket, and kind of below and behind the throttle switch, sneak in a long extension for your socket wrench, maybe 10 inches.
