Any Hints for Success R&Ring the ECT sensor? 200

Oh, I always called it CTS or Coolant Temp Sensor
Thanks

In trying to diagnose my problem, which sound like yours, Luke, I found the ECT to be fine. In fact I had the dealer do the check for me, and they said they rarely replace them. What they did say was that the problem was the ECU. I didn't believe them until 3 months later when the car got so bad I couldn't drive it wiuthout holding my foot on the pedal to keep the idle up. I finally got a hold of a used ECU. In the beginning it was a high and low idle, mostly low after warm-up, and high when running for only 5-10 min.
