In addition to Chris' suggestion a liberal coating of grease might dampen
some of the sound. Use the thickest you can find except in extreme cold
weather.

BTW would you believe we got over 2" of rain today?
Got more than 1 3/4" day before yesterday also.
We're about to catch up. The grass is growing so fast
I hope it soon gets dry enough that I can mow it!
