I feel for you dude. I do accident investigation and thats why I own a volvo. my wife hit a deer south of Lexington KY in October on the interstate and it only damaged the front. Totaled out my 1990 740gl 4dr which I loved and I replaced it with a 1992 volvo 740 wgn. To respond to ronalds query about injuries to passengers, it doesnt look like too much encroachment into the passenger side so the passengers would have been shaken, with possible side whiplash but should not have any broken bones from the normal major encroachment of other vehicles which I have witnessed. Glad no-one was hurt.
