Bruce, Thanks for the help on the FPR. Turns out that the spark problem was a bad crank sensor. Interstingly, I discovered that the crank sensor wire had been lacerated by a nearby hose clamp. It had cut the bare wire enough that there was no resistance. I am going to cut the wire just below the 'hose clamp cut' to see out of curiosity if the sensor was bad. There were also several other spots on the wire that were that were cracked and broken as well. Those spots looked like heat damage.
At any rate, I re-positioned the clamp and replaced the CKP and it now runs better than ever.
