Quick question about antenna 700 1988

Hmm... well, I believe the motor in my antenna has been in use since 1990. The antenna mast itself was replaced in 2000 when the old one broke. Cost of mast was about $15. I don't see why you're worried about it breaking... Even if the motor went it shouldn't be that expensive to fix.

Not to mention that if you ever go into an automated carwash you would have to lower it.

I'm sure you can short it somewhere behind the radio.
