Idle At Start 1800 1971

Thanks for the input, guys; I will check the Aux Air Valve this weekend. And, Peter, it really is about 25-30 seconds to smooth idle. I have idle set a little high (1000 RPM) to compensate for the A/C. When A/C compressor kicks in, idle drops to around 700-800 RPM and fluctuates a bit, particularly if it's really hot and humid, which is typical here in Memphis. And, of course, the A/C is in use continuously here from June-September.
