Thanks, Ron, I now feel villified.

I'm a huge fan of fuses - I don't think there can be too many.

I redesigned the entire electrical system on my 142. (As you know, because I sent you the obsolete fuse panel :)

I ran 6 ga. wire (fused) from the alternator to the starter solenoid, for purposes of charging the battery.

I used another 6 ga wire (also fused) to a distribution point (from a GM product) to feed a custom relay box. Each wire from the distribution point is itself fused before it hits it's respective relay (low beams, high beams, fuel pump, spare).
