I would start with looking for the obvious. Not saying you haven't already but sometimes the next day you can go back it and there it is. I would suspect a loose wire if you have a new cap, rotor and plugs. Recent valve ajustment? Since you say cold start injector, I assume it's fuel injected. Checked the the duel points in the disributor that fire the injectors?
