760 engine swap 700

Hi Volfro

There were two different types of 700 series turbos offered in the US. Don't hold me to this. This info I have learnt of the net

740ti 4cyl turbo. Mid level features eg power windows and stuff like that
760ti 4cyl turbo. High level features Eg power windows,mirrors,seats sunroof leather interior better trim IRS on the later cars
in other words the 760ti is a 740ti with 760 features but a 4cyl turbo engine

In Australia we had 760 turbo 84/85 and then in 86 we got the 740 turbos
the 84/85 760 turbos had Et type engines insteed of the FT type engines in the 740turbos

ET type engines had higher compression ratios and no catalytic converter
FT type engines had lower compression ratios and a catalytic converter

The doesn't mean the car your are looking at has not been converted
