it does sound like rear bushings.

you should hear it clunking at slow speeds when driving over a speed bump. that will tend to shift the rear axle around if the bushings are done.

is the rear of the car sagging a bit? that's a sign of trailing arm bushing failure. Those you can't see, they are straddled between two brackets on the axle.
