M41 Slipping 140-160

I have an M41 J-type ('73) in my amazon. I thought the clutch was slipping, so I did a clutch job. I found to my dismay that there was plenty of meat left on the clutch when I got in there. Changed it anyway, and it still feels like all the power isn't getting to the wheels. It was suggested to me that the overdrive unit may slip in a similar manner. Anyone ever experience this?
