swaping out to automatic 200 1978

well yes i reliaze its a lot of work and no i aint sure the manual tranny is bad. It dont go in reverse and it does funny stuff in first. I cant see how it could be the clutch. Anyway I thought it wood be neat to swap to the automatic since the 2 cars are identical except for one being auto and the other manual. I had to take a cutting torch to cut the entire front out of the wreaked wagon. Did you know if you put the torch on them cylinders that hold the front bumper on that the oil in them catchs fire and shoots out about 5 ft..........
