swaping out to automatic 200 1978

Yeah I know that dummy! According to the doc, you are NEVER supposed to break or heat or otherwise abuse the pistons because they can explode! But that never stopped me.... Anyway, the rear ends definitely have different ratios.
I don't remember which is which but I think the manual has the lower ratio (higher number) because it has OD. The early automatics were only 3-speed with no OD and need that higher ratio for the highway....
