Dash Pad Removal 140-160

I believe the top clips will just slip through the holes, maybe with a little
wiggling. I would NOT try to bend them as they are spring clips, and you will
need the springiness on the new pad to hold it to the metal. Go easy with
the heat as even a little too much will cause warpage and possibly extreme
shrinkage. A LITTLE heat might be helpful in installing the new one.
No, I haven't done it but I think you have it right, just wiggle and pull it
off (assuming it isn't glued or otherwise bonded to the metal).
You may have to drop air conditioner, glove compartment, etc on the right
side.
