Strange acceleration problem 700 1989

Hi,

Sometimes, after stopping, I'll go to accelerate and rpms appear to drop right down for about a second (not enough to stall the car) and suddenly pick up again. It usually happens when the car is cold, but it has been known to happen when it has warmed up. I've checked the vac lines and they all "seem" fine.

Any ideas what this could be??
