Strange acceleration problem 700 1989

I have a 89 760t/i that does the same thing. Not enough to be a problem, just pesky. I had a 90 760t/i that would naturally get up and haul ass from acceleration to well over 100 with no hesitation at all. I think I need to replace the in-tank fuel pump and dread it but, again, pesky...
Any one else?
