A try at rack & pinion 140-160

Hey...
I'm really interested in the conversion, as for me, in Thailand- it's pretty hard to get parts for the 144. I thought about a steering-box conversion, but then rack might be a better deal. Import used Jap racks go for 50$ here with 6 months warenty...
I also talked to a garage who owns a 144 and has done it to his car. He used a Subaru Legacy rack... Real neat, but the only bit that annoyed me was that the turning radius was more than the Volvo, so instead of doing a U-turn in 2 1/2 lane, he needs more than 3... But I'm still hunting for a rack with has more movement than the Subaru, that would be the best option I think.
