Not true. SU's are the ultimate for fuel economy because they atomize fuel brilliantly at all engine speeds & loads. Not so with Webers.

Use SU's for Economy & Power with stock to mild engines.
Use 2x DCOE's or better still DHLA's for medium to all out performace
Don't use a DGV at all. Spend that money on fixing your SU's or put it towards DCOE's.
