Ok, yeah, thank goodness! I found the motor thinggy and it did indeed have two tabs on it, I changed over and now the car will turn over and try to start. Last time it was running it was very poor due to all the crossed wires, for one, the old harness had the oil pressure sensor i think, (it's the black wire next to the alternator) crossed with the smaller of the red alternator wires! So since last time it chugged down to stall, I guess I need to replace the spark plugs again... Is there some way to clean them? I hear WD-40 all the time suggested for just about anything, but aren't there considerations, like what won't mess up the inside where the sparks plugs go??
Anyhow, I guess I need to change out the spark plugs and prolly my battery is not all that strong after not being successful at like four starting sessions over the course of three days, (the car has not been driven for like a month) Hopefully new plugs and a jump will do it.
Do I need to try and clean out the place where the spark plugs go, I mean if the spark plugs come out all black and cloggy like before, I assume there will be residual problems in there even if the right mixture is now being sent??
