I use 7" Hella H4's right now but have a set of New Cibie I was going to install.I tried the 55/60 90/100 90/120 and 100/130 bulbs I was quite impressed with the 100/130's then I found the grand daddy of them all (and with them adjusted correctly I've never been flashed).Overlander offers PIAA Ceramic based H4 bulbs that are 180/135! I don't mean "purchased-on-ebay-blue-spashship-make-you-look-ten-years-yonger-for=$9.95-bulbs" I mean bulbs that really work. You can see deer on the side of the road for about a quarter mile, and they are ready to eat by the time you pass them! They ARE $80 a bulb but I think they are well worth it.I was using them in a four headlight system (240) with 130 High beams and 7" driving lights with 130's (880 with everything on) It was PLENTY! I use an solenoid and huge wires but before I did in the 240 you could smell the headlight switch cooking with the high beams on and they would last only a night or two. With my current alternator I can't use the bulbs but hope to get them "fired up" soon.
