Idle problem B20E question on my 71 142E 140-160

You can check if rotor shaft is gummed up and sticking by removing cap and turning rotor anti clockwise, if you get some rotation it is sticking and staying slightly advanced. There is provision for oiling under rotor button, you may be able to free it by soaking with rostoff and working backwards and forward until springs take over.
