Idle problem B20E question on my 71 142E 140-160

Hi George,
I also thought it might be a manifold leak and after I read your post I put some oil in a squirt bottle and sprayed around the manifold while running. It did not suck in, but I cannot really see the underside(where the leak would be) so perhaps it is a leak.

It does seem to be temperature dependent sometime. When cold it usually idles fine. I say usually, but temp varies here in MA so much I never know what is going on.

I looked at the idle control hoses and they look fine. However, perhaps I am missing a crack or something, I think that I will just go ahead and replace them.

It drives like a dream. I took her to work today(40 miles, half on the Mass. turnpike) and just cannot stop enjoying it. I have to keep upgrading....

Thanks again,

Jeremy
