I'm going to be installing a M41 in an Amazon wagon sometime in the next couple of days.Also taking pictures for the car's new owner.The u-joint on the short shaft has to be changed and for fun will post a link with pictures of how it's done in a Volvo specialty shop. The tools include a hammer,brass drift,large vise...pressing...and the right size socket;-)
Cameron on another topic/another board you mentioned 700 series rotor being warped by over thighting the lugs with an air wrench. I have it from my very well informed source the main cause is the OEM high friction Volvo brake pads. Volvo of course always says its the fool with the air wrench. I have changed a few and seen warped rotors from the 700 cars and in every case it's been Volvo pads. This is way off topic...just never got around to a reply over there.
