(took two batteries and 3 spark plugs and lots of cursing to get 'er started this morning) (in -10 weather)...

Put in an Optima battery. I did, and they are as good as Optima says they are. I won't put in a conventional battery anymore...ever.
What it won't do, though, is cure other problems that cause bad cold-starting.
