Phil thats actually a pretty big cam for a stock engine. 242@0.050" is roughly something like 290 Advertised duration. 101 lobe centres would make the engine very peaky. Those specs are pretty much the same as I have seen for a Volvo 'R' grind from various sources. (John Mc, how about you buy a 10 dollar degree wheel & a 20 dollar dial indicator & measure yours? You really need to anyhow if you are going to degree it in!)
