Weber Conversion Question 120-130 1964

I just installed a used, but complete Weber DGV kit on my 122, but I don't have instuctions and I'm not sure how to connect the hot water hose to it. The kit came with a few fittings (a 1/4" restricter and a "T"), but not sure where these go. Does anyone have a picture of the setup or describe how to hook up the hot water lines? I've heard some say they've used the heater hose so that water only flows through the carb base when the heater is turned on. Sounds good, but if that's the case why would I need the "T" connector?
