My Volvo New Car Features Shows the single terminal in the wiring diagram
but no physical location. I will dig for it when it is above 20F in the
shop...
For those installing an alarm with ignition cutout there
is a two terminal connector (Blue wires)shown, used to connect
to the auto tranny safety switch that cuts out the starter...
put the interupt relay there.
The Haynes is not quite useless for trouble shooting electrical.
So back to the root questions...
Is there a way to trouble shoot the Impulse Sender or ICU?
Where is the Ballast resistor located?
Additionally...
What is up with the new model distro...
Specifically should I back rev to the old style
or stick with this one or replace the sender
I checked the block when I got the car and it is a B23 not a 230
Thanks
Miguel
