Starter "Service Socket" — One terminal, NOT two!

Starter Test Point—is *definitely* NOT the two-terminal plug near the Coil! That's the one for testing CO test point for the LH 2.0 (pink wire) and for shutting the IAC to set/adjust Base Idle speed (blue/white wire). I don't think either of these should get 12 volts applied to them.

The Bentley diagram for '84 shows the Starter test point (aka "Service Socket") to be have a Blue wire. It should be in the firewall area above the starter, with a black terminal housing (female spade inside).

Putting 12V to it energizes the solenoid & spins the starter. Just like the crude way of doing it with screwdriver.
