Yes, I did omit to mention that once I have cleared the codes, the engine surges and quits initially but settles down once I have got it going until next time the check engine light comes on again revealing the same error codes.

Also should have mentioned that I there is a constant hesitation when pulling away from a stop.

By the way, my 240 is a 1993 wagon.
