I've heard of this too, and it must have been a problem in the past, cause my car had 14s on it when i got it and the brakes were shaved a little bit. You can shave/file down the calipers a little bit and it should be fine. I didn't have to do it on my car, as it was already done, but can tell u from experience that i had 14" 240 series Coronas on my car, and it looked damn good. :)
