Not a 2 inch SU question but perhaps you or others will have helpfull suggestions.

HS6s on a modified Volvo B20. At 5200 rpm whether under light or heavy load, neutral, 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear, the piston in the front SU suddenly drops to only about 1/3 open. The piston in the rear carb remains where it was.

Why?????????????
