Indeed, I kind of like that english wing-mount mirror look also, but the problem is finding them. I almost found a replacement mirror at a junk-yard for where the holes are in my present door, but the chrome on the darned thing was totally pitted and bubbled. It was hard to believe that it could have been an original volvo part, because it seemed to be made of pretty shoddy materials. It was of the round variety also.
