yeh i know about volvo's 'sealed for life trannys' i own an auto 850....nuff said! and when i did the m46 on my 940 that was nasty...which kind of prompts me to believe you change the fluid every 30k on ALL trannys no matter what...i mean on an m47/m46 the fluid is so cheap its a shame not to...

I will try the 'brute force' approach and see where we get to...
