i had a similar problem a few months ago with my 86, 245 i removed the door panels and used P B Blaster to free up the mechanism which i could see was putting a strain on the operator motor . i then lubed the window tracks and they started to operate much better. i think there were some screws missing or loose that hold the operator in the door and that was causing the operator to work in a bind. once i made those basic repairs they have been working fine.
