where to find upper ball joints? 120-130

Ooops... on a related note... the parts vehical from which I could get the upper arms does not have its wheels any longer, and is kind of just propped up on its axles. How could I go about getting these arms off, considering that the springs are loaded and it can be dangerous when uncompressing these?

Any guerilla-style, "in the field" method to doing this whith a limited supply of tools?
