I'm using Al-Bronze alloy guides cut off flush with the top of the exhaust ports. No boss, no guide, just port -- exhaust guides were honed to .0024" clearance, intakes (which are NOT cut off) to .0012".

I did not do the porting, so I'm not qualified to say where or what to cut.
