am i looking for trouble? 120-130

True... That brings up an idea... Put IPD's overloads on the back, that way you won't have the lowered stance that the people below are complaining about, and then you can put some larger DIAMETER size tires on the rear of the car. Or what i'd do, is put smaller diameter tires in the front, but that would effectivly lower the car as well. But you'd have better steering response as well. What tires/wheels do you currently have on the car? You could run 205/65s or 195/70s or something along those lines in the back of the car. They would give you a slightly taller overall ratio, so that your speedo will read a little lower, but you will have the stance you want, and you could couple those tires with 205/60s in the front or 205/55s or 195/60s... You can play with tire sizes and their effects here: http://gs.tolan-hoechst.com/tirecalc.htm

Now that i brought that link up, i played with it... 205/65s would be good for the rear because they are only .1" taller than stock 165/15s. That results in a speedometer error of less than 1% and would give you a .4" raise in the back if you had 205/60s on the front. You could go with 195/60s on the front and have the rear .64" above the front. But then you'd also have more understeer. Couple that with some overload coils and you'd have the look you're going for. And in my opinion, not much if any negative effects, except for the car will be facing down a little more, and the rear won't handle as well as the front of the car,(by how much or to what effect i don't know, but i don't remember ever having any problems when i had big tires on the rear and small ones on the front). But you'll have stiffer springs in the rear, so that will help slightly. Also, I once again highly recommend sway bars if you don't already have them...

actually, look here and see the difference between 195/70/14s and 195/60/14s when they were on my 142. I think it looked good...

Let me know how it goes,
