It's pretty scary on that s80 Board!

Pitiful as it all is, the fact is, it is. I love my 245 5 speed, and wish I could buy another new one when this one goes to that great recycling yard over the horizion (which will be a long time yet, barring an up close and personal visit from a deer or another motorist). I keep wondering how it must have felt to drive a new 240 wagon home from the dealer. We also have an 850R, but we take it in for almost all work, although it has needed very little other than factory recommended maintenance. My 88 245 (170, 000) will never see the inside of a dealer's garage. Now that I'm retired, the 245 is only suffering from the excessive maintenance syndrone I witness all across this forum. I actually enjoy working on the car (at least, when its all done), and find myself prowling around it thinking..."what else needs replacing??" Wonderful little cars. I keep looking at an S60R, but I have to admit I find myself wondering if an Infinity or a Toyota might be a better investment....pity.
