You should consider opening the cover above the gas tank and check out the condition of the fuel lines, sending unit and wiring prior to doing the actual job. Then you can purchase any additional parts before starting the job.
In particular, try removing the clamps on the fuel lines. I had a bitch of a time with one of mine...When I finally got it off I also discovered that one of the tubes the fuel lines connect to was rusted so I also needed a sending unit - common problem. This is also a good time to determine what clamps you are going to need, the condition of your fuel lines (mine were okay, but my car is a 1990), check wiring etc.
Use some Vaseline on the bung nut when reinstalling, makes it easier.
