Check the plug to the AMM. Un-plug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in. Also check all the hoses between the turbo and the throttle body. If one is loose or disconected or has a major split you will get the same effect. What you describe
sounds like a AMM on limp home or a disconnected Turbo hose.
